Job Description

Male caregiver required to meet the client's specific care and safety needs.
Minimum of 2 years of recent hands-on dementia care experience is required for consideration.
Only qualified applicants with dementia care experience will be considered.

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Male Caregiver to provide full-time, one-on-one in-home care for a client living with dementia. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and skilled in managing cognitive and behavioral challenges while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

This position requires an individual who can remain calm in challenging situations, demonstrate excellent judgment, and provide high-quality personal care with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver attentive, person-centered care that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence.
Support the client's cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs associated with dementia.
Foster a safe, calm, and structured environment that encourages stability and well-being.
Follow and implement the individualized Plan of Care while observing and reporting changes in condition.
Build meaningful relationships through patience, consistency, and compassionate engagement.
Assist with daily routines and activities while promoting the highest level of safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 3 years of recent hands-on caregiving experience.
At least 2 years of direct dementia care experience.
Experience managing dementia-related behavioral and cognitive challenges.
Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in complex or high-stress situations.
Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, dependable, and emotionally mature approach to care.
Commitment to establishing trust and maintaining positive client relationships.

Transportation Requirements:

Reliable transportation.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record.
Current automobile insurance.
