We are looking for a compassionate and committed Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients and assist them with daily living activities. Support patients with personal hygiene needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Measure and document vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
Administer medications under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed healthcare provider.
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation while ensuring safety at all times.
Help implement care plans and follow prescribed treatment protocols.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and organized medical documentation.
Perform basic clinical tasks, including venipuncture and sterile processing.
Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during difficult moments.
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA standards and uphold patient confidentiality.
Solid understanding of HIPAA guidelines and the ability to protect patient confidentiality.
Proficiency in safe medication administration following established protocols.
Familiarity with hospice care principles and end-of-life support.
Ability to assist with medical procedures, including spinal taps, as directed by providers.
Strong organizational abilities for managing medical records and documentation workflows.
Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
Competent venipuncture skills for blood collection.
Ability to provide patient ventilation support using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Knowledge of sterile processing practices to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
