Job Description

Responsibilities

Configure, build, test, and maintain medication management and formulary systems within the pharmacy application environment.
Perform clinical review, design, and maintenance of standard Epic Willow Pharmacy workflows and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve pharmacy system issues promptly to ensure optimal system performance and patient safety.
Support biannual Nova upgrades and ongoing Orion project monitoring, tracking, and implementation activities.
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support system build and maintenance for both clinical and non-clinical applications.
Participate in device integration testing, third-party application testing, infusion pump validation, and vendor-supported system testing.
Partner with Training and Clinical Informatics teams to implement and support new workflows, system enhancements, and operational projects.
Design, develop, and validate reports that support clinical operations, compliance initiatives, and organizational goals.
Participate in an on-call rotation with the Willow Inpatient Pharmacy team, including weekend and evening coverage as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient systems.
Current Epic Willow Inpatient Certification.
Experience with Willow Inventory and/or Willow Ambulatory applications preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
Active, unrestricted pharmacist license issued by a State Board of Pharmacy.
Minimum of two (2) years of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency.
Completion of both an accredited PGY1 Residency and PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency preferred.
Prior experience working within an academic medical center environment preferred.
Previous Epic Analyst or healthcare informatics experience preferred.
