Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Configure, build, test, and maintain medication management and formulary systems within the pharmacy application environment.
  • Perform clinical review, design, and maintenance of standard Epic Willow Pharmacy workflows and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pharmacy system issues promptly to ensure optimal system performance and patient safety.
  • Support biannual Nova upgrades and ongoing Orion project monitoring, tracking, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support system build and maintenance for both clinical and non-clinical applications.
  • Participate in device integration testing, third-party application testing, infusion pump validation, and vendor-supported system testing.
  • Partner with Training and Clinical Informatics teams to implement and support new workflows, system enhancements, and operational projects.
  • Design, develop, and validate reports that support clinical operations, compliance initiatives, and organizational goals.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with the Willow Inpatient Pharmacy team, including weekend and evening coverage as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient systems.
  • Current Epic Willow Inpatient Certification.
  • Experience with Willow Inventory and/or Willow Ambulatory applications preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license issued by a State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency.
  • Completion of both an accredited PGY1 Residency and PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency preferred.
  • Prior experience working within an academic medical center environment preferred.
  • Previous Epic Analyst or healthcare informatics experience preferred.
