Core Caregiving: Provide compassionate assistance to residents with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including transfer/ambulation, hygiene, and nutrition.
Health Monitoring: Track and document vital signs and overall physical/mental condition, escalating any changes to the nursing team.
Clinical Assistance: Support medical staff with specialized procedures, post-op care, and safe specimen handling under universal precautions.
Equipment Management: Safely operate healthcare equipment, including oxygen regulators and specialized seating/mobility devices.
Environment Maintenance: Ensure a clean, sanitary, and organized environment for residents, including linen changes and supply inventory management.
Collaboration & Compliance: Participate in multidisciplinary care planning meetings and mandatory training sessions; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Current CNA license
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Newly Licensed welcome!
Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
