Provides technical support, direct patient care, and patient monitoring throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures. Maintains continuous communication with the physician regarding patient status and clinical condition. Assists physicians during both invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures.
Operates all equipment safely, accurately, and in accordance with established protocols. Ensures procedure rooms are properly prepared, equipment is functioning correctly, and all necessary supplies and materials are available prior to procedures. Obtains and organizes supplies for individual cases and ensures the operational needs of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team are met.
Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care, safety, and departmental efficiency. Authorized to be present in areas where medications are stored, prepared, and administered in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
